Gravity Move

The Gravity Move (Game) is an Ad-Supported Freemium mobile game, developed and published by Nipun Kulasinghe (“I”, “me” or “my”). As I understand the importance, and value the privacy of the players of the Game, this Privacy Policy explains the collection, use and disclosure of the information of players of the Game. Therefore, please read and understand this Privacy Policy, and accept in order to play the Game.

 

1.   Information Collection and Use

When using the Game, some user information would be collected to provide, improve, and analyze the Game. The types of information collected include:

 

1.1.   Information You Provide

  • Contact Information: Such as if you contact me, your name and email address.
  • Voluntary Information: Any information you voluntarily provide, such as in-game feedbacks, comments, survey responses, email conversations, etc.

 

1.2.   Information Collected Automatically

When using the Game, certain information about your device and your activities would be automatically collected. This information is primarily non-personal, but may be linked to your device identifiers, and can be used to identify you in a specific context.

 

1.2.1.   Device and Usage Data:

  • Device Identifiers: Such as the Google Advertising ID (GAID) in Android, Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or Identifier for Vendors (IDFV) in iOS, IP address, custom user IDs, etc.

  • Device Information: Including device type and model, operating system and version, mobile network information, Wi-Fi status, CPU and memory, screen size, language settings, etc.


1.2.2.   In-Game Activity Data: 

  • Game install attribution data: Game discovered source, Installed source, etc.

  • Game session details: Game started time, play duration, number of sessions, etc.

  • Game progression data: Levels completed, items collected, features unlocked or used, etc.

  • In-app purchase (IAP) events: Items purchased, prices paid, total IAPs made, etc.

  • In-app advertisement events: Ads watched and clicked, information about the ads presented, etc.

  • Miscellaneous: Events like notification interactions, Game sharings and ratings, Game updates and crashes, etc.

 

1.3.   Information Collected by Third-Party Partners

The Game uses third-party services to facilitate Game operations, provide services, perform functions, or analyze the Game performances and utilizations (Third-Party Partners). These Third-Party Partners may access, collect, process, or share your information, and may store files (such as cookies, tracking IDs, etc.) on your device. Therefore, please review the privacy policies of these Third-Party Partners listed below as well.

2.   Information Collecting Methods

I use AppsFlyer mobile measurement partner to collect the install attributions data, Firebase Analytics to collect the Game analytics data, and Google Forms to collect in-game feedbacks. And Admob and other mediated Advertising Network Partners may collect data through their own SDKs implemented into the Game. And the other Service Provider Platforms may also collect data through their own platforms, SDKs, packages, libraries, etc.

 

3.   Use of Your Information

The information collected would be used for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Game: To operate the Game, manage user requests, provide customer support, etc.
  • For Analytics and Improvements: To understand how the Game is used, analyze trends, and make improvements to the Game's features, performance, and user experience. However, the Third-Party Partners may also use this data to analyze and improve their products and services as well.

  • For Advertising and Marketing: To measure and optimize the effectiveness of the Game’s advertising campaigns. However, the Advertising Network Partners may also use this data to show you personalized or interest-based ads.

  • To Ensure Safety and Security: To detect and prevent fraud, illegal activities, or violations of terms of service.
  • To Comply with Legal Obligations: To comply with applicable laws, legal requests, and law enforcement requests.
     

4.   Sharing Your Information

Your information may be shared with the following categories of third-parties:

  • Service Provider Platforms: To provide services and facilities on behalf, including install attributions, Game analytics, fraud prevention, etc.
  • Advertising Network Partners: To measure and optimize Game’s advertising performances, and present in-app advertisements.
  • For Legal Reasons: To disclose your information if required by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect and defend the rights or property, or for the safety of any entity.

 

However, those third-parties may also share your data with their partners, affiliates, service providers, subsidiaries, etc. Therefore, please review their policies and terms as well.

 

5.   Data Security and Retention

The Game is designed with reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no digital application, method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable. Therefore, 100% absolute security cannot be guaranteed. And your personal data would be retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for legal, accounting, and reporting requirements.

 

6.   Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on your location’s privacy regulations, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These rights are not absolute and may be subject to certain limitations under applicable laws.

  • Right to be Informed: You can request to be informed about the collection and use of your personal data. And this policy is designed to fulfill this right.
  • Right to Access: You can request a copy of your collected personal data.
  • Right to Rectification: You can request to correct your any inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can request to delete your personal data collected.
  • Right to Object to Processing: You can object to the processing of your data for specific purposes, such as direct marketing, personalized advertising, etc.
  • Right to Data Portability: You can request a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw the consent to collect or process your information at any time.

 

6.1.   Exercising Your Rights

You can exercise these rights from the Settings of the Game, and each of these data privacy right options would be enabled inside the Game based on your location’s privacy regulations. 

 

And, since your data is deeply tied to the Game on your device, if you reset, clear, or uninstall the Game on your device, you may lose the access to your data. Therefore, if you want to exercise those rights above, you need to retain your Game and its data protected on your device in order to preserve and access your data, until your requests are fulfilled.

 

6.2.   Specific Jurisdictional Rights

  • In Certain US States: You can opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information within the Game at any time.
  • In EU/EEA/UK (GDPR): I collect your data for my developer analytics and Game and advertising campaign improvement purposes under consent basis, and your consent will be explicitly requested for each analytics and personalized advertisement purposes, and you can change your consents within the Game at any time.

 

7.   Personalized Advertisements

The Game is available for free, along with occasionally displayed advertisements. The selection and delivery of ads are all managed by the Advertising Network Partners. Therefore, please review the policies and terms of the above Advertising Network Partners.


You can try the following device settings to opt-out of the personalized ads. However, the Advertising Network Partners still may use their own IDs to deliver personalized ads to you. Also, those settings may differ in some devices.

Additionally, you can eliminate the automatically shown advertisements in the Game by purchasing the relevant in-app features.

 

8.   In-App Purchases

The Game includes in-app purchases. Payment transactions for in-app purchases are handled entirely by your Application Store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) via your corresponding store account, and I do not have access to any of your payment information.


You may need to provide your payment information to your Application Store, such as your debit or credit card number, the name on the card, expiration date, and CVV number. Therefore, please review the policies and terms of your Application Store.

 

9.   Notifications

The Game may send you push notifications regarding the events of the Game. If you wish to opt-out of receiving these notifications, you can turn them off in your device settings.

 

10.   Links to Other Sites and Services

The Game may contain links to third-party sites or services, including advertisements and external services. If you proceed on those links, you will be redirected from the Game to those third-party sites or services. Those external sites or services are not operated by me, and I have no control or responsibility over them, Therefore, please review the policies and terms of those sites or services before you use them. 

 

11.   Terms and Conditions

By using the Game, the Game’s Terms & Conditions will also apply to you. Therefore, please review and accept the Game’s Terms & Conditions as well.

 

12.   Children’s Privacy

The Game is not intended for and does not address children under the age of 13. Parents and legal guardians are encouraged to observe, participate in, monitor, and guide their activities when using the Game. If you believe that your child has provided any sensitive personal information (such as through emails or feedbacks) without your consent, please contact me. And if I become aware that a child under 13 has provided any sensitive personal information, I will take necessary steps to delete such information. Moreover, if you are younger than 18, your parent or legal guardian needs to read and accept this Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions on your behalf.

 

13.   Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, and I will notify you any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You will be deemed to have accepted the changes to the revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Game. Therefore, please review this page periodically for any changes.
